There's nothing quite like the thrill of riding roller coasters over and over again with your friends, that's why this Christmas event trip to Spain was so much fun. The good thing about this event was it was more than just the theme parks, the group got together outside of theme park hours to watch the football, go for food together, travelled across the country together and so on. 

We started off at PortAventura World where we spent two days. For this part of the trip we worked with PortAventura Business & Events Team to put together a package which gave us two days entry to PortAventura Park with fast passes for the first day, and one day entry to Ferrari Land also with fast passes. The fast passes were definitely handy for our group as both parks were very busy during our visit.

Also, during our first day at PortAventura we were given early access to the Far West Saloon show and catering vouchers, so we had a good choice of seating and pre-paid vouchers so we could all grab some food and drink whilst watching the excellent "Christmas Time" show. We also had the opportunity to very briefly meet the cast members and take some photos.

Moving on, we travelled from PortAventura to Camp de Tarragona and eventually onto Madrid Atocha ahead of our group visit to Parque Warner Madrid. We arranged group rate entry with Parque Warner for our group and spent two days there. Parque Warner has always had a solid lineup of attractions but for 2023, they opened Batman Gotham City Escape which is a new multi launch roller coaster manufactured by Intamin. Batman Gotham City Escape is truly a world class roller coaster, the only downside is the queueing experience before the pre-show, but it's a truly fantastic roller coaster and something that isn't being spoken about enough. 

The joy of re-riding that roller coaster over and over again within our group was special, so we passed on feedback to Parque Warner recommending that Exclusive Ride Time sessions on Gotham City Escape should be available for groups to book in the future. This is something the park now offers, and we're sure at some point we'll head back over for our own ERT session.
